After a long hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Discovery Cube Los Angeles has reopened on Thursday, July 22. Los Angeles City Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez was on hand to help celebrate the grand reopening of the popular science center. The new Festival of STEM exhibit features five areas based on STEM themes, over ten interactive hands-on activities, and exhibits showcasing the innovations and inspirations of STEM-based innovators. Camp Discovery
Children who love science can’t resist a summer at Camp Discovery Cube Los Angeles Sylmar, which features interactive exhibits based on the Solar System. The camp offers engineering projects, a Mars experience, and a close-up view of the Sun. Parents will be pleased to learn that the camp is free to attend and offers complimentary Metrolink rides for children 17 and younger. Children will also enjoy the daily live science shows and special exhibits.

COVID-19 policy
The COVID-19 policy at Discovery Cube Los Angeles is designed to protect visitors from exposure to communicable diseases. It applies to all visitors aged two years and older. Unvaccinated visitors must cover their faces. A COVID test is required within 72 hours after entry. The Discovery Cube is located at 11800 Foothill Blvd. in Sylmar. It has many exhibits aimed at teaching kids about different science topics.

Interactive STEM attractions
Discover the fun of science at Discovery Cube LA, the interactive STEM attraction for kids. This hands-on exhibit is a great way to spark the natural curiosity of your child. You can ride the Metrolink free of charge for kids age 17 and younger. The museum also offers programs for parents interested in helping their children learn about science.
