Flightdeck is a flight simulator center located at 400 West Disney Way, Anaheim, CA 92802, that provides virtual training for pilots of all levels. With a current fleet of over 20 simulators and a growing client base, Flightdeck is now looking to expand its operations. In this interview, we speak with President and CEO at Flightdeck Adam Barker about his company, the industry, as well as future plans.
What is Flightdeck?
Flightdeck is a flight simulation center that offers virtual training for pilots of all levels. With our fleet of over 20 simulators, we are able to provide the right training environment for each individual. We also have a state-of-the-art 1000 foot Flightdeck Flight Simulator. A simulator can be used for practice or to train for an actual flight. We allow pilots to get the most out of each training session by offering multiple training platforms and virtual environments. This means that we can train on a plane with a high fidelity cockpit, or in a high fidelity flight simulation environment. Flightdeck is located in Visalia, California, a short drive from Fresno, Bakersfield, and Stockton. We offer our services to the Central Valley, Southern California, and the rest of the country via our online booking system. How long have you been in operation?

What are your target users and market?
Our target users are private pilots from all levels who wish to practice their skills or simply enjoy flying an aircraft. We also cater to the general aviation community. Our target market is the Central Valley of California, Southern California, and the rest of the country.
How do you differentiate yourself from other companies in the market?
We offer a wide variety of training platforms, we focus on offering the right environment to each client. We also have a wide array of add-ons and virtual environments available, so we can adapt to each client’s needs. We also have dozens of avionics systems available, allowing us to provide the right training environment for each client. For example, we have a Cessna 172 that can be used to train as a private pilot. However, we also have systems available for the Boeing 737, 720, 737 Next-Generation, 767, 737NGX, 787, and 777.
