Where the name Fullerton comes from

One of the most fascinating facts about Fullerton is the origin of the city’s name. The city is named for William C. “Fullerton” Drury, who was a partner in the Drury & Company mercantile business in Los Angeles. Drury was a member of the Los Angeles Common Council from 1854 to 1855, and also served as Treasurer of Los Angeles County from 1857 to 1858. Aqueduct Racetrack & Casino
